Ticknall Garden Club is based in the village of Ticknall, South Derbyshire. The club was established in 1990 and has over 100 members.
Green Fingers? Or just green with envy at other people's success? Whatever your involvement in horticultural pursuits you will be made most welcome.
Knowledgeable speakers cover a wide variety of topics of interest to experienced and not-so-experienced gardeners! The talks are followed by a social half-hour, with refreshments, when plants can often be purchased and gardening tips exchanged. Other benefits of membership include an annual garden themed holiday, visits to famous gardens, horticultural shows and events, near and far.
Visitors are always most welcome and our membership is not restricted to those who reside in Ticknall but covers a wide local area. If you are in our lovely village do come along and join us for the evening. There are some outstanding gardens and you may get an invitation to visit one whilst you are here!
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month, (except August), in Ticknall Village Hall commencing at 7.30pm.
